Roblox Introduces Roblox Wallet and Roblox Card

On September 11, 2026, Roblox announced Roblox Wallet, a new system designed to give creators faster access to their earnings and more ways to manage their money. Wallet is expected to begin rolling out in December 2026, initially for U.S.-based independent creators who are 18 or older.

Roblox Wallet ensures that the creators who qualify for the service will receive their payouts in USD every business day after any necessary holding periods. In addition, the creators will get to transfer their balances into their bank accounts at their own convenience, check details about transactions that were done, and monitor the flow of cash through Creator Hub.

Wallet will also introduce a new way to purchase Robux. Eligible creators will be able to buy Robux at the DevEx rate of $0.0038 per Robux, before applicable taxes. That means 10,000 Robux would cost $38 at the Wallet rate.

But Roblox isn't stopping there. The company plans to launch the Roblox Card in 2027, a physical card that will allow users to spend money from their Wallet balance wherever major card networks are accepted.

The changes will also affect DevEx. Roblox plans to begin transitioning away from DevEx in the United States in mid-2027. DevEx will continue to operate for longer in other regions, with Roblox announcing transition dates as Wallet becomes available in each region.

Roblox also plans to expand Wallet in 2027 to more creators, including creators aged 13–17 with parental consent, groups, incorporated businesses, and creators outside the United States.
