Roblox is celebrating its 20th anniversary with a brand-new edition of The Hunt, taking players on a journey through two decades of games and experiences.
The Hunt: Roblox 20 runs from September 17 to September 28, with players travelling through Roblox history from 2006 to the present day.
20 Years, 20 Games
The event begins in Year Zero, representing the founding of Roblox. Players then progress chronologically through 20 years of Roblox history.
Each year features a different experience representing that era of the platform. Players must complete quests in each experience to progress, with UGC rewards available along the way.
Some of the experiences featured include classic and long-running Roblox titles such as Lumber Tycoon 2 and Jailbreak, alongside newer hits including Adopt Me! and Grow a Garden.
Once players complete all 20 years, they unlock Year Infinity, opening up another 20 experiences representing Roblox in 2026 and beyond.
A Classic Roblox Throwback
The anniversary celebration isn't just happening inside The Hunt.
Roblox has also introduced a limited-time Classic app theme, bringing back an old-school Roblox logo, colours and font. The theme is available to all players during the event.
Roblox Plus subscribers also receive additional anniversary features, including the ability to keep the Classic theme after the event ends, along with a classic avatar background and profile frame. Subscribers can also access the Hunt hub early and earn three exclusive virtual items.
The Hunt Returns
The Hunt: Roblox 20 is the third major Hunt event following The Hunt: First Edition in 2024 and The Hunt: Mega Edition in 2025.
This year's event puts Roblox's history at the centre of the experience, giving players a chance to revisit games from different eras of the platform while celebrating its 20th anniversary.
The Hunt: Roblox 20 is available from September 17 through September 28, 2026.
